divided sky used to have an open mic,and I played ther ever so offton,I had an accoustic pickup and an acostisonic fender accoustic amp as a head for the p.a.
I walked in one night to play three songs two was with harmonica and singing,I waited my turn,everyone was there a lot of famous musicains,some of the Almen Bros,ect ect,I was thinking cool this could be it!!!!,
I got up there at my turn and just smoked thoes three songs,like playing for my life!! and when I finished,no aplause(almost always get standing ovation)but no not a sound you could here a pin drop,dead silence,not one clap,.
somthing was different,,,three things I thought as I packed up my gear.
one they think I suck and in that case I'm heart broken and I failed miserably, two it's like going to see "Pink Floyd"jaw drop,overwhelmed ya just sit there and try to belive what you just saw and heard was real!!>. or three theses where my peers the musicaians,the famous people there,trying to tell me in some way famous people act,,,YOU CANT PLAY CLUBS AND BARS ANYMORE YOUR TO GOOD FOR THIS KIND OF VENUE.
THE THIRD ONE IS THE ONE THAT SEEMS TO BE REALLY TRUE,THE SECOND ONE TO,,,,,
SO i CANT PLAY LIVE ANYMORE!!!! GO BIG,YER GONNA GO BIG,THE l.a. ARENA i'VE BEEN HERING LATELY ...
ONCE APOUN A TIME AGO IN mILL vALLY C.A. SOME CONCERT PROMOTER DID'NT REALIZE HOW FAMOUS THE MIGHTY"LED Zepplin " was is I mean,and booked them in a basketball gymnasium(the promoter was my roofing boss) they allmost rioeted Led Zepplin"had to do three shows back to back just to keep the imence crowd from rioting,,
I'm like that now!!!I couldnt play at tahoes convention center,they would tear the place down ,with state line and alcahol and casinos,oh my god you would have to set up e.r.tents and pregnency centers,
but you all dont really realize it yet,,,,me walking down ther street is one thing(by the way I turned and noticed a crowd of about fifty people fallowing me down markrt st.)they saw the shocked expresion on my face and kinda dispersed.
me walking down the st is one thing but me playing a live show with equipment,advertised as such,promoted,,,,boom,BOOM,BOOM.
i HAVE A docter appt gotta go peace in every one these polititions will get our country togeather and my c.d. money and art and six allready written books will help,,,,,,,,,,,
THANK YOU COMANDER AND CHIEF FOR LESS U.S. OCUPATION,IS BETTER FOR EVERYONE,JUST MAKE SHUR THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELFS,,,OF CORSE,RUSSIA WILL PROBABLY HELP STABALIZE EVERYTHING SO THEY CAN HAVE LESS RUSSIAN OCUPATION TOO!!!!!
